A ceramic funnel find with vitrification was excavated at Balatonőszöd-Temetői-dűlő settlement in 2002, from the Early Bronze Age Somogyvár-Vinkovci culture. Its formal analogies connect the find to the milk productions or the metalworking, toward to the eastern steppe cultures (Catacomb culture) and the earliest Bronze Age cultures in Central Europe (Vučedol, Somogyvár-Vinkovci). The undecorated funnel was not a ritual find.
