Two sisters, two kings, and a kingdom in the balance. In a desperate attempt to save their kingdom, Dunyazad discovers her sister wants to wed King Ryar. Even though his wives do not live past one night, Scheherazade believes her gift of storytelling will turn the king's heart. And she needs Dunyazad's help. That night when Dunya comes to say goodby, she asks for one last story. Her sister begins a tale which doesn't end by dawn and they're allowed to continue the story the next night. Dunya isn't convinced the plan will work. What if he grows tired of her tales? And when his brother asks for help to fight the northern tribes, King Ryar has a story of his own to tell. But even he doesn't believe the legend of the phoenix feather. Can they soften the king's heart in time - or will their plan crumble like the kingdom around them?
