This monograph reconstructs the world views of the ancient societies that lived in the south of Western Siberia. This work is based on numerous archeological, ethnographic, folklore, and linguistic studies on the subject. One of the sources used in this research was petrographic art (petroglyphs and small stone sculptures) of Siberia and Mongolia. Several settlements are included in the analysis: late Stone Age burial grounds in the basin of the Yenisei, Ob, and Irtysh rivers, including Okunevo; the Andronov settlement (dated to the Bronze Age, 15th to 12th centuries BC) on the Tobol River (Tiumen Oblast). 44 tables of images. Extensive bibliography (pp. 266-318).
