My narcissist swept me off my feet with love and kindness! Our three years of dating were wonderful, fun, and exciting! As soon as we said, ‘I do’, he changed, our lives changed. The next four years were a challenge! I went from being happy and in love, to living in fear and anxiety. I had never met a narcissist before, I never knew they existed, nor did I know how mean and vicious someone could be behind closed doors. These are my unique stories of how verbal and emotional abuse crept into my marriage. I’m sharing these stories so other people can understand how quickly a narcissist can entangle you in their web without any warning! I made it out of my trap! I’m still a work in process, reclaiming my self-esteem and self-confidence, but I am so much happier, just knowing I can wake up each morning, able to get out of bed without fear!
