Titus Josephus Flavius! First-century Jewish insurgent leader, captured by Vespasian Flavius at the siege of Jotapata and taken to Rome where he became court historian and chief writer for the Roman Flavian Dynasty. Their chief propaganda machine in their campaign to subdue the Jewish peoples in the Jewish Roman-occupied territories and in their need to establish their new fledgling dynasty, Vespasian being the first military man to be thrust into the Imperial Purple by the army. The Roman Flavian Dynasty! Vespasian and his two sons Titus and Domitian! During whose reigns the Gospels were written! For what purpose? Christianity founded in Rome, not Judaea! When we read the gospels, we see not Jewish Judaea, but Rome! Rome, where Josephus spent the rest of his life living in luxury and writing to the commands of the Flavian emperors. Or was he?
