A history of Israel, ancient and modern, based on the itinerary of a short tour in 2016: from Megiddo to Masada, this book researches the origins and development of the people who occupied the spaces of ancient Palestine from records that have survived Egyptian invasions until documentaries of conflicts and wars of the 20th century. Scholarship and commentary are drawn upon to provide as reliable a report as the author can relate to the tour, with a central focus on Jerusalem.
