This map includes all of Asia Minor and Egypt, the Arabian peninsula with the exception of the southernmost tip, and the whole of Iran. An inset shows the land of Judea in greater detail. All ancient civilizations are included with distinguishing marks for each, beginning with Catal Huyuk and including Sumer, Babylon, Assyria, Mari, Ebla, the Hittites, the Egyptian dynasties and the Persian Empire, among others.
