Sirigu's extraordinary traditional architecture, mural decorations and pottery, are genuinely some of the most preserved artistic forms of the Upper East Region of Ghana. The cultural significance and symbolism of these magnificent art forms, however, are not fully appreciated by many admirers. Also, very little is known about the materials, tools and techniques that go into the creation of these spectacular works. The central focus of this work is to provide answers to address the above mentioned deficiencies.
