Contaminated sites are creating significant environmental problems around the world. These proceedings on CD-ROM include 306 papers on topics such as environmental forensics and remediation of sites with perchlorate, creosote, chlorophenol, pesticide, PCB/dioxin, EDC and PAH contamination. Techniques include in situ substrate injection, natural attenuation, site closure, fungal technologies, treatment of metals and mining waste, and strategies for reclaiming landfills, nitrate-contaminated groundwater, wetlands, sediments, and lagoons.
