NEVER FLEW JETS..... is just a story about a guy who never achieved his dream of flying for PanAm or TWA. Like many aspiring pilots, he found many hoops and hurdles to getting into the pilot's seat of a big commercial jet and was never in the right place at the right time with the right qualifications. Instead he flew little planes and turboprops around the Northwest, Alaska, Africa, New Guinea and other fun places and now says, "How lucky could a guy have been". Everybody has a story to tell and Rich Herrmann just decided to write his down for his family or anyone else who might be interested. After about 30- years of commercial flying he ended up with over 18,000 flight hours and, luckily, no accidents or violations........... but had a lot of fun!
