The Second Coming of Christ is the most important topic in the world. That is a profoundly true statement. Our world has just endured a Coronavirus plague which has altered our way of life. We long for the days of 'back to normal', secretly knowing that we may not see such days again. But the Coronavirus has caused us to examine the Holy Scriptures, and within its pages, note how plagues are a portent of the end of the age. So are many other events, which will be discussed in this book. While the author has already discussed much of the material in this book in his previous work Sovereign Lion: A Simplified Biblical Theology from the Book of Revelation, the need was felt to simplify even further--the topic of the Second Coming of Christ, as well as the events preceding and following it. Many of the Revelation passages are cited in this book.This book will discuss the signs of the times, as foreshadowed in the days of Noah, the Great Tribulation--described by Christ as a time to come which will be unequaled in all history, the Antichrist--superstar of the final days of history, as well as the Second Coming of Christ Himself, and the battle which precedes this event Also discussed will be the ancient Jewish wedding ceremony, and the festivals in Israel--two typological scenarios which supply rich prophetic perspective to the return of Christ.
