Toxic Love? That does not sound right! Surely love is beautiful, soft, and gentle, bringing with it joy and peace. How can we link it with the image of toxic? Toxic is poison, disease, and death. Toxic brings pain, grief, and sorrow, an ugly word, and to link it with love repulses us. Into the garden paradise, the devil came and enticed man with the Lie, which was to shape the rest of human history. The Lie simply stated said to live in union with God, receiving and revealing His love, in dependent faith and obedience, was not the only option available to mankind.
