In our culture "student" means "someone who is studying in order to enter a particular profession." However, 2000 years ago being a student was far more than studying: it was a way of life. A disciple (a student) would learn from their rabbi (a teacher) and do as they did. When Jesus called the original 12 disciples, he said to them, "Follow me." But what does the phrase "follow me" mean for the disciple today? What did Jesus teach that shows us how to be a disciple?
