Studies on fruit flies and their behaviors are fundamental to the more adequate and effective management of populations that reach high densities in agroecosystems and become pests worldwide. The book addresses basic aspects of the biology and behavior of fruit flies of economic importance and applied aspects such as monitoring, biological control, semiochemicals, SIT, and the use of botanical insecticides.
