Der Wein wird nur noch an den Sonnenstrahlen ausge setzten Mauern gezogen, nirgends mehr gekeltert. Im Anfang des 16. Jahrhunderts hat sich unter Herzog Heinrich der Weinbau einmal uber das ganze Land aus gebreitet, aber nach des Herzogs Tode 1552 schnell wieder aufgehört. Wahrscheinlich war die Sorte zu sauer.
