The articles are interesting, informative and very well written with great full-colour photos to accompany them.” — Sifu Jef Sutherland Featured in the December 2018 Issue Nino Bernardo: Living Through His Wing Chun Sifu Nino Bernardo is not your typical martial artist, a fact that becomes apparent when you interview him. Born in Hong Kong in 1946 to mixed parents, Nino began training in Wing Chun under the legendary Master Wong Shun Leung in the 1970s. He moved to London in 1977 and opened his Kwoon, “The Basement,” in 1984, gaining fame in Europe for promoting the then-little-known Wing Chun system.
