Vladimir Pimonov (b. 1995), a Russian journalist, conducted interviews with the best known Russian dissidents who were considered as especially dangerous for soviet society. Most of them had been through camps, exile, forced psychiatric treatment, and other soviet technologies of mind control. Fourteen interviews taken in 1987 create a psychological portrait of these people and one more document on the history of spiritual resistance to the totalitarian regime. The first edition of this book was published in Denmark in 1988.
