"In a daze, she found her way home to the love of her life; for soon she would add "warrior" to her title of mother and wife." Pink Warrior Poetry & Tips is an honest, sensitive, and at times humorous, account of one woman's diagnosis with breast cancer. She retraces the most difficult year of her life and how a little red bird rekindled her faith in God, love, and gave her hope to have the strength to fight like the warrior she would become. Distraught with fear, she wrote poetry as an outlet to voice her feelings and documented tips she learned along the way. Through her story, poetry and tips, cancer patients, family and friends will find a perspective on what it is like to be diagnosed with and treated for cancer, and hopefully find comfort in knowing that God is present in our pain.
