Having more than our share of distractions while preparing for another move in less than a year would prove detrimental to his health, our relationship and our future for years to come. I also became distracted between registering my pre-teen "Kayla" to a new school, adjusting to new surroundings myself while our family settled in the new house. Within that same year to a year and a half later I started to notice subtle yet growing changes in David's personality and his behavior. Thinking and wondering if it was issues at work that he didn't want to talk about, I figured he was tired.
