Author Description

In January of 2007, Dr. Linda Thompson became patient Linda Thompson as she received the leveling diagnosis of breast cancer. Over the next two years, the doctor/patient would navigate her way back to health wearing both hats. Along that challenging path an idea would develop: "I believe that every individual who receives a diagnosis of cancer has a right to make his or her own decisions regarding the treatments that are most acceptable to him or her." In her first published book Dr. Thompson seeks to encourage and empower the newly diagnosed with concise, readable, trustworthy insight as she relays her professional research and personal results with both traditional and non-traditional breast cancer treatments.
