Seventeen years old and faced with the most difficult situation of her young life. The only problem was that she had no idea what was actually wrong with her. Leukaemia? What is that? It's cancer. 'Am I going to die', she asked. The immediate response to being diagnosed with such a horrifying disease is 'Fear!' So much anxiety kicks in and even her parents could not provide definite answers. Suddenly she was shown a whole new world. Her bedroom became a hospital isolation room, and this young girl is forced to take a stand in favour of life and fight! The pain, the anguish and all the nights that she spent wishing that this disease hadn't chosen her, but it did. This is her story.
