"Picky Tongue: Lockdown" is the third in the Picky Tongue cookbook series. It paints a very different picture of Stephanie Pierce's cooking style, this time paying homage to the time of the pandemic, during which we all could spare hours on elaborate meals with our families. The recipes are absolutely delectable, drawing from Pierce's travels and time as an expat. The dishes pride themselves on the effort required to produce them, but also on the gratification upon completion. Some recipes include a delicate Japanese tartare, a classic and king of the lockdown hot salt beef on rye, and Middle Eastern inspired pomegranate pavlova, to name but a few.
