Cartomancy is one of the traditional mantic arts (of divination and prophesy) and as such it dates back eons and its origin is unknown. It is not known if the cards originated in the west or east. Or if they were first produced for mantic or recreation purposes.Tarot cards differ from ordinary playing cards in several ways. Although they can be used in the game called tarocchi, their main use is as a mantic tool. My aim in writing this book is to help the novice or experienced reader gain more insight into this mantic art. and for all of you who do read the cards, I wish you good reading. Out of clutter find simplicity, from discord find harmony, and in the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.
