INTRODUCTION 1. Prologue The complexity and competitiveness of today's business environment require that companies continuously seek to enhance their effectiveness. Imperatives for sustained performance in an organization need to factor in leadership styles, productivity, adaptation to change, process improvements, and capability enhancement (knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies). In the global corporate scenario, it has been found that organizational effectiveness (OE) has helped business entities not only to survive in the fierce global competition but as well grow and diversify.
