Genetically engineered foods quietly came onto the United States market in the 1990's. A host of controversial issues sprung up around them including questions about their safety to human health and the environment, whether they should be labeled or not, and whether they will solve the problems of world hunger. This anthology presents different perspectives on these issues and further insight into other aspects of GE foods.
