The Bible Story Picture Cards are quarterly. Each week, the leader will send home a picture card with the child. The beautifully illustrated card contains the Bible story for the day written in simple easy-to-understand language. The cards also contain tips for the parents on how to share the story at home in special parent/child together time. Parents are encouraged to be intentional about talking about the faith with the child on a basic beginning level. These cards provide the words and the concepts that will enable this. Benefits Quite often parents want to say and do the right things when teaching the faith to their toddlers, but they are not exactly sure how to go about it, or what words to say. These Bible Story Picture Cards help parents be intentional about expressing the Christian faith in loving ways and connecting to the Bible story their child hears in Sunday school. Through these interactions the toddlers and twos will come to what God’s love is all about.
