Lois Corcoran was born in Tilley, New Brunswick, Canada. She and her husband, Everett, have two married daughters, Ardith and Esther, and five grandchildren. The Corcorans entered the ministry in 1956, received missionary appointment to Pakistan in 1970, and are presently working in special ministries in Asia. "When the finger of God points the way, the hand of God will provide." This profound statement was made to us by the foreign missions director T. F. Tenney, at our final meeting with the Executive Board. He began by saying, "Brother Corcoran, there will come a time when the excitement and glamour of being a missionary is gone. Then all you'll have left is the assurance of your call. When that time comes, remember: when the finger of God points the way, the hand of God will provide." Then we were on our way again!After several delays, we made our approach to the Karachi airport. The plane taxied to a standstill It was 4:20 A.M., May 4, 1971.
