Her fervor and dedication to the Sacred Heart, and a firm belief in humility before God, drove her to incredible accomplishments before her death at the age of 67. Between 1890 and 1905, she wrote extensively to the Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus - the order she founded - in letters describing her travels and trials.
