A collection of memories with my grandfather, set in old Appalachia during the 40s.This memoir, dedicated to my own grandson, highlights the spiritual connection between myself and my grandfather, Pappy George Washington Morgan. Examining my near-death experience when I was in my late twenties, this set of memories and stories delves into the unconditional love that my grandfather held over me both when he was alive and after he had passed away. It showcases how the virtues of love and forgiveness are the two most powerful elements that are waiting for us in the afterlife. After seeing my grandfather in a spiraling tunnel of mist in my near-death experience, a spiritual connection between myself and God took shape, allowing me to experience God's undying love through some of the most trying times in my life.This book is for my grandson, to remind him of these memories and how they have given me hope in my despair, and improved my ability to deal with suffering.
