2 Kinds of Fire speaks of the many trials we endure in life and how, through a difficult process, we can either allow the pain we experience to break us or mold us into the person we were created to be. It is in the fire that the unfruitful roots in our lives are removed and burned away. But it is also in the fire where stretching, healing, and purification takes place. This collection of poetry is a story of hurt, joy, loss, and hope; one that is full of transparency and vulnerability and lacks shame. From unhealthy relationships to depression and loss of purpose to restored faith and overcoming, 2 Kinds of Fire is a reminder that we all have pain, trauma, and hurt. It is what we allow it to do to us that matters.
