Excerpt from Bible Lessons on Christian Life and Death: Prepared for the Sunday School of First Church Joy. The little book has been growing month by month, and during all the months of its growth it has been bearing fruit. The lessons have been made more attractive and useful by the addition of a few stanzas from appropriate hymns. The number of these has been increased in this book, so that the same lesson may be learned with different hymns. Wishing to use the questions again, we have gathered up the scattered leaves, and put them together into a more abiding form. They are at the service of any who may desire to make trial of them, and we hope that they will do for other schools what they have done for ours.
