
"My Diaspora Footprints" is a documentation of Oluyemi Olawale OGUNDELE's sojourn in a foreign land for over forty years and how he achieved his goals and dreams in the face of adversity. It's a journey of false starts, courage, and new beginnings, an autobiography that will inspire others to never give up on their dreams, even when they come across a bend in the road. ENGR. Ogundele was born in Lagos, Nigeria, on October 18, 1960. He attended Surulere Baptist School, Lagos, and Baptist Boy's High School, Abeokuta, Ogun state before proceeding to Europe to study Mechanical Engineering at the Higher Technological Institute in Vienna, Austria (TGM/HTL). He also studied peace and conflict resolution at the Austrian Study Centre for Peace and Conflict Resolution (ASPR). Before joining the private sector, he started his professional career as a Technician with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) in Vienna, Austria. After eleven years in the private sector, he returned to the International arena by joining the International Atomic Energy Agency as a Multimedia/Electronic Engineer, a position he holds to date. He is a member of Austrian Chamber of Engineers *** SERVICES TO THE NATION A member of the Marketing Committee (A sub-committee of the steering committee for the clean Nigeria campaign project under the National programme to end open defecation in Nigeria by 2025.
