Apart from ethical and theological prescriptions, Quran unfolds a brilliant spiritual philosophy that is capable of standing the test of reason. Hinduism presents the most ancient and the most rational spiritual philosophy in the world, which is enshrined in the higher texts known as Upaniśads. One of the main grounds advanced by Muslim missionaries for conversion of Hindus into their fold is the theological superiority of Islam. In this small book, this claim is examined by probing the comparative merits of the spiritual expositions in Quran and Upaniśads.
