Author Description

This text introduces students to principles of program design and to computer programming using the BASIC language. No prior familiarity with computers or knowledge of programming is required. This book presents a systematic, disciplined approach to program development, beginning with an understanding and analysis of the problem to be solved and continuing throughout the design, coding, testing, and documentation phases of problem solving.
