In the first part, "The Dilemma", the author reflects on the belief that art has reached a point of extinction. This question leads him to seek the origins of this belief, and to ascertain about the universality and necessity of art. It is shown how this theme can be explained through the biological history of the human species, which is an issue that thinkers have historically tended to avoid, believing that art is a purely spiritual issue, but which has never been demonstrated. Instead, the author proposes that art is based on the phenomenology of beauty. The question of beauty is addressed in the second part "A Beautiful Seduction", which introduces the concept of Significant Immanence, using Kantian epistemology and the harmony of the biosphere, to demonstrate the necessity and universality of beauty, considered, this last, as the foundation of art. At the same time, even when it is not explicitly identified, significant immanence amplifies the sense of a "unified theory of beauty", including beauty within the sciences, geometry, heuristics and invention. The final part takes up the meaning of art, the possibility of its death and the various modern expressions of this interpretation. In this way it tries to clarify the limits that may exist, reducing the paradoxes to transfigurations that are mainly due to the phenomena of self-awareness and the enactive nature of the artistic actions, defining the latter concept as "art that is expressed in its his own making. It is concluded that the proposed analysis would establish the historicity of artistic phenomena and that, in regard to art, "the talk of death is unacceptable."
