This is a series of books about the contents and grace of the World Heritage sites in China. Over 2,000 years, Confucianism was promoted as the dominant ideology by one dynasty after another. As a result, in Qufu of Shandong, Confucius hometown, Confucius-related historical traces have been well preserved, in addition to many monuments built in his honor. Among them, the Temple and Cemetery of Confucius and the Kong Family Mansion, all located in Qufu, are closely related to the Sage. Grand, imposing and kept intact, they were included by UNESCO in the World Heritage List in 1994.
