This Technical Note outlines a general test procedure for establishing the energy and environmental performance of buildings. It describes areas of concern and gives guidance on monitoring and modelling processes involved, and formalises a test procedure for energy and indoor environmental performance assessment. This document has been prepared as part of a research programme into the performance testing of buildings. The work was supported by the Department of the Environment, and forms part of the Department's Technical Infrastructure programme.
