"This monograph has evolved from a series by the author on Weibull Analysis published in Reliability Review, The R & M Engineering Journal, from December 1993 through December 1994. Subsequently, the series was assembled as a booklet entitled Weibull Analysis Primer which the author used as a resource for students attending his seminar courses on the subject. This fourth edition contains valuable illustrations and simple examples drawn from real problems investigated. The author leads the reader in an orderly sequence through the basic principles employed in Weibull Analysis. Then, he discusses and illustrates application of the techniques to such issues as product life expectancy, evaluation of wear out failure modes, infant mortality, warranty life, risk forecasting, maintenance analysis, and field reliability."
