The Vetiver System relies on a unique tropical plant, vetiver grass. that has been proven and used in some 100 countries for soil and water conservation, slope stabilization, land rehabilitation, pollution control, water quality improvement, disaster mitigation and many other environmental applications that can mitigate the impact of global warming and climate change. The world and its people, particularly in the poorer countries located in tropical and semi tropical countries, face major environmental and health problems due to the contamination of water and land.
