This book captures Rose's legacy, "something handed down to the next generations. This legacy consists of stories, encouragements, and history that hopefully will be of interest to those who come after me." Rose shares her life through a series of stories, pictures, and responses to questions from her granddaughter Rachel Trego. Throughout this book, Rose shares honestly as a woman who is filled with faith hope and love. "My children have requested that I write my life story, so I have tried to remember facts about my childhood, growing up and more recent details. God has been a part of my life, and because of the Lord's blessings I've enjoyed a happy life, for the most part."
