About the Author Irene Frankel is the former Assistant Director of the English Language Studies Center at New School University, New York. She has an MA in TESOL from New York University, and has done extensive teaching, teacher training, consulting, and materials development. Marjorie Fuchs has taught ESL at New York City Technical College and LaGuardia Community College of the City University of New York and EFL at the Sprach Studio Lingua Nova in Munich, Germany.
