Stanley Marcus also put Dallas on the map. His store, Neiman-Marcus, became known worldwide for fashion and style. The author was a teacher with the congregation Shearith Israel, 1963 to 1977; archivist and administrator with the Dallas Jewish Historical Society, 1983-1995; and currently serves as librarian for Sheanth Israel. She is the author of a history of Sanger Bros.
