The decision to become edentulous is influenced by a number of non-disease factors, including attitude, behaviour, dental attendance, and aspects of the healthcare system, according to research. Additionally, there is a significant link between the edentulous state and the financial issues that are typically connected to poor occupational levels. It is fair to infer that edentulism is caused by a variety of confluences of cultural, educational, economical, and dental disease attitude variables, as well as by previous treatment. A pre structured multiple choice questionnaire were given to random patients to assess the level of perception, practice, awareness and acceptance of patients towards prosthodontic treatment as a whole. Practice, awareness and knowledge of patients and choice of patients regarding prosthodontics treatment are different among age group, gender, education of populations. Regular dental visits are required in order to maintain optimum oral and dental health of an individual to be a positive factor and the patients believe in maintenance of the prostheses as well. Despite the fact that majority of participants in this research study had a positive attitude or reaction towards dental treatment, it is fundamental to understand the reasons for doubts in patients mind with respect to treatment plan acceptance. Dental schooling camps, utilization of print media like newspapers, promotions, banners, and visual media, for example, short movies and recordings should be done for the same for creating mass awareness of the treatment methods and their advantages during this circumstance. Economic stressors in general populace will require relief and fast changes in policy would help. Mobile dental vans, giving on-site dental treatment, might be a plausible arrangement.
