Forever Home is an illustrated children's story about a dog named Joe, who lives in a shelter and hopes to find a permanent home. The story, written from the dog¿s perspective, is about the trials and tribulations of pursuing his dream of having a home to call his own. Forever Home is intended for young children, and could be used with foster children to promote discussion about their hopes and dreams, as well as disappointment and loss¿feelings experienced during placement in foster care, and even multiple placements. The story concludes on a positive note when Joe finally finds happiness with a family in a home of his own.
