Drug abuse is major and continuously increasing problem now days. It is like a poison for which people are getting addicted to it day by day and is illegal for use and consumption. Due to increasing cases of drug abuse one should take some serious actions to control it. Present study deals with the assessment of drug abuse cases occurred during the tear 2017-30 April 2018 in District Kangra (H.P.). The parameters selected for the study was Sex, type of drug found, involvement of other state and country in supplying of drug, distribution of drug according to area, most trending drug among people. the reports were collected from police stations on request through application. There were total 325 cases reported for drug of abuse. The cases were evaluated on selected parameters to know the trends and prevalence of drug of abuse.
