This book was designed to provide an easy format for fostering emotional identification, emotional understanding, and emotional regulation. The book provides the child with a simple visual tool for selecting and expressing an emotional state, considering the intensity of that emotion, and comparing the emotional event to other events that envoke a similar reaction.
