Author Description

The 14th century story of "Sir Gawain and the Green Knight" is a fantasy compounded of horror, adventure and romance, taking place in the Dark Ages of England, the times of King Arthur. The present version of this entertaining yarn is in ballad form - in a lighthearted vein that perhaps owes more to Lewis Carroll's "Hunting of the Snark" than to Samuel Coleridge's "Rime of the Ancient Mariner..".
