This is the first truly holistic theory of evolution that includes all aspects of life-material and nonmaterial (awareness, sensory, emotions, urges, etc). It has only been possible in recent years because of new discoveries in quantum physicists, genetics, epigenetics, paleontology, and other newer sciences. These new discoveries have to do with awareness and consciousness. It opens the door to the mind-brain for the first time and demonstrates the effects of awareness on evolution which turns out to be profound. The entire nervous system is designed to take in sensory information and analyze it and take appropriate action to find food, foe and maneuver in the environment. It does so with sensors that can be traced back to the first one celled organisms that use rudimentary sensors for exactly the same functions to detect food foe and the environment as we do. In short, because of these sensory functions in all life, one can appreciate that all organisms are aware and create their own evolution, not by chance but to fulfill needs for change! The author and writer are neuro-physiologists, and have found the connection between material and nonmaterial aspects of the universe in all matter and energy giving the origin of awareness and consciousness in organisms through the discoveries of quantum physics-mind. It refutes the idea that all organisms as automatons, because we evolved from these very organisms and have awareness and consciousness which had to evolve from them. It is the nonmaterial mind that controls and directs the body.
