Author Description

The aim of this book is to prepare the candidate for oral examinations in psychiatry by presenting a range of questions with answers in random order. It is primarily intended for MRCPsych candidates, though final year medical students and postgraduate doctors may find it useful. Each answer gives a resume of the topic under question to help the reader identify his relative strengths and weaknesses, and to fill gaps in his knowledge. References, usually from readily available textbooks and journals, are provided. The book also has general advice on oral examination technique.
