Pitman 2000 shorthand is a modified version of the Pitman New-Era shorthand. The modification was introduced to reduce the amount of theory to be learnt. The logical structure of the Short Course makes Pitman 2000 easy to learn and it is particulary suitable for intensive courses. The Short Course contains 16 units of theory, each including progress checks, reading and writing exercises, and dictation practice.
